Meet Norecia Callwood

Advanced Tutorials was established in August 2011 by Norecia Callwood, a Kindergarten teacher who believed there was more to a child's learning experience than simply writing assignments on the board. 


Norecia Callwood's passion for teaching emerged after giving birth to her first daughter. Her desire to assist her daughter in her education and to ensure her success prompted her to earn her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University, and her Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University after giving birth to her second daughter. She started teaching at Joseph A. Gomez Elementary School in 1999. Teaching 3rd grade, 5th grade, and Kindergarten taught her how to show compassion and patience to her students, while maintaining a structured environment to ensure her students' academic success.  


Ms. Callwood's commitment to developing the learning skills that result in academic success and achievement for students of all ages has remained unchanged for over 10 years. Her 17 years of teaching experience, and graduate education in Educational Leadership to guide students toward academic success demonstrates a rare but common passion she shares with her fellow educators.
